LC300 4,000kg BTC Upgrade

Touring Solutions Australia (TSA) is proud to provide this upgrade, which increases your vehicle’s Braked Towing Capacity (BTC) to 4000 kg. This upgrade allows you to legally tow above the standard 3500 kg, or provides an extra “cushion” when towing near the maximum limit.

Inclusions

      • Must be used in conjunction with a TSA 4.2T GVM upgrade
      • TSA has completed all required testing for this upgrade, including:
        • Load and stress testing on the chassis and tow components
        • Stability and braking checks when towing
        • Gradeability and startability testing in accordance with LS16
        • Verification that all components meet Australian standards (ADRs)

      • Can be done pre-rego or post rego in QLD and VIC
      • Must be used with a Curt Rebellion XD hitch and 70mm ball (45969-85-70-KT) or DO45
      • Can be done on all model 300 series including wagon and ASG Dual Cab.

      • TSA recommends, but does not require, the installation of the following:
        • An additional transmission cooler
        • A brake controller
        • A transmission monitor
